Foster Grandparents

Harkness is fortunate to have FOUR Foster Parents serving our school community this year.  Our grandmas provide our school with supervision and support during meals and one-on-one and small group support in our K-3rd classrooms.  Click HERE to learn more about the AmeriCorps Foster Grandparent Program.

Read On!

Our top priority is to ensure every student at Harkness is reading at grade-level or higher.  Read On!  provides additional, tier 3 reading intervention for students who are working towards reading at grade-level.  Ma Vang, our Read On! AmeriCorps volunteer, is on site, full-time to coordinate and provided these services to our most vulnerable readers in 2nd through 4th grades.  Click HERE to learn more.
